50% off Upper Egypt's sightseeing tickets

In his first official meeting, Dr. Khaled El-Anani, the minister of tourism and antiquities has decided to cut temples and museums ticket's prices into half.  Focusing on reviving cultural tourism in Upper Egypt during summer, El-Anani agreed to reduce the entrance fees to the top touristic destinations in three main governorates which are: Luxor, Aswan and Qena.  This decision aims at attracting more international tourism to the area during summer season.
On the other hand, and for the first time in Egypt, El-Anani decided to work on digitalizing all services related to the ministry of tourism and antiquities. Such decision will facilitate purchasing tickets online and via mobile apps.  It is also planned to offer guidebooks and books of antiquities on the internet for tourists to go through before they visit Egypt.  Stay tuned!
